Cons (-) The price Being from down south i expect the price of a pint and food to be over the odds but i thought the north was cheaper, as there is not much in the area it feels like a monopoly on the price you don't really have choice but that being said the food is great so the price is justified but a drinks a drink and £7 for a pint was steep

Pros (+) The staff were genuinely hospitable and warm. Cullen is a lovely town and the hotel was well located. The layout and decor of the lounge bar, reception and bistro were tastefully done and created an inviting homely atmosphere

Cons (-) The room was full of dust and fluff on back of tv and pictures. We didn't get clean towels after leaving all our used towels in the bath. On return in afternoon the same dirty towels were hanging on the rail !. No pillow protectors and poor quality pillows.

Pros (+) Very clean, high level of finish in the suite. Very comfortable and plenty of space. Only downside was it's beside the main road so a bit noisy early morning. Also front door is locked from 10pm - a key is available - just a bit of a pain if you are in a group and want in at different times but no real problem.
