The location is great and the hotel facilities exceptional. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean.
The service at the restaurant could be better.
I liked how spacious the room was. It was huge and the bathroom was gorgeous! Also walking distance from the Amtrak station. I had a very early morning return flight so being like 7 minutes away walking was perfect for me.
I didn't like that on the first night, the front desk misinformed me on when the restaurant would close, so I couldn't eat and had to go outside and find food. It frustrated me immensely.
Staff were super friendly. One particular, Christopher, was exceptionally helpful. Location was perfect for my needs. Clean and classy hotel.
Nothing…it was all great!
It was nice
I didn’t have wash cloths to shower after driving for so long also there wasn’t a microwave I waited an hour for them to bring one
The room was big and the location was perfect for sightseeing
The hotel is in a business area so everything is close during the weekend. Still, you are close to downtown where you can find many eating options
Very quiet not crowded when I went. Clean and modern, spacious rooms, super comfortable beds & pillows, the manager is great and staff is wonderful! Quiet location not far from Union Station. Homeless encampment across the street to the left, kind of sad but does not impact anything with the hotel except seeing it feeling bad.
No pool and hot tub
Loved the Du Jour restaurant, waiter was supper attentive and real cool space.
Atmosphere, decor, faculty, location
We liked the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, and the modern decor. It was great to be close to a lot of very good restaurants. We also enjoyed the animal mascots (the royal beaver, and the various animals on the room keys) -- a fun touch.
The valet parking at $65/night is a bit pricey, but it is understandable for that area of Washington DC. The front desk let us keep our car in the lot for a couple of hours after we checked out, so we felt it was still a good value.
The property is beautiful. It is the city so it’s right in the middle. So there is construction and stuff but still in a nice quiet area. The French restaurant attached to it was delicious.
Not much parking but it’s DC. So it’s very understandable. There was street parking luckily that was free.
