For us the location worked well for what we wanted to do and see. The location served as a central hub for us as we branched out for shopping, sight seeing, etc. Facility was clean.
The breakfast was average, nothing super special to rave about.
Great location and really helpful duty staff.
Broken tile gat cut my foot and mould on the bathroom sealant.

Perfect location for almost anything in Kyōto. Clean room and fairly neat.
Elevators were terribly slow and not enough for the amount of floors and rooms.
The property was clean and well maintained
We are a family of 6 with teenage kids. We had to get 2 rooms and they were both really small.
The hotel is not only excellently located but also employs incredibly friendly staff. Rooms are small, as usual in Japan, but very clean and well maintained. A hotel to be warmly recommended. We'll be back, for sure!
The variety of breakfast items
Really liked this hotel. Staff were great. Nice warm welcome, always helpful with advice and guidance. Their spoken English was almost perfect. The rooms are nice, very clean and comfy. You can cast to the TV which is handy. Hotel WiFi was fast enough for streaming movies easily. Location is great. 5 mins to Sanjo station, 2 mins to shopping streets, and there is a Round One about 10 mins walk awa...
If I had to pick anything as a bit of a negative, then the bathrooms are a bit small and need a bit of modernising. Still absolutely fine though.Read more
