The pool, lounge area, yoga classes…
No coffee or tea in the room; the pool was cold day 2.
Location, near to JFK airport; access to New York Subway; relatively little hassle parking; excellent restaurrant; the staff we were great!
Nothing to complain about, really. But it would have been nice to have a small in-room refrigerator (for my medication)
though the location is a bit far from the City, it's near the Rockaway Pier. As a traveler, taking Ferry to explore is an adventure, relax activity.
Beautiful location
Tiny rooms
Very comfortable bed, cute design and room decor, loved having blankets for the bed, balcony with peekaboo ocean view, good restaurant options, lobby had some kind of perfume that was nice, the toiletries were high-quality and also smelled amazing, welcome drinks, awesome selection of "mini bar" amenities (sheet mask! adaptogenic chocolate! super fun). Close to JFK.
No coffee machine, water kettle, microwave, mini fridge. We thought there might have been drawers under the platform bed but we either couldn't get them to open or they weren't actually drawers. If the latter, I wish there was more storage space! Perhaps in the bigger rooms there is, but even in low season this is a pricey hotel.
Love the ambience of the hotel with all the beautiful art and books. Room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Great location to relax. Nice way to travel from there with the ferry to Manhattan.
Clean, comfortable and near to JFK
No smoking at balcony
Staff was really nice and the location it’s perfect
Staff was very accommodating and professional, they were flexible with our travel situation. Loved the proximity to the beach boardwalk and the complementary beach cruisers that they provided!
Not an ideal neighborhood when you walked a few blocks one way or the other. Seems like the hotel is an oasis of charm in a neighborhood that needs a rebuild.
The spa was the best part, great staff and high quality massages.
Very disappointing stay. Having stayed in countless hotels this place seems to be a tourist trap and low value for money. Would not recommend if you are a New Yorker. Prior to check-in I was charged an additional $50 amenity fee, which was not disclosed anywhere on Booking. The front desk informed me that the $50 covered the “free” glass of rosé, the “free” WiFi and their yoga mats should you choo...Read more
