Pros (+) Very cozy hotel. I'm glad I stopped there on my first visit to Taipei. Very caring staff. Everything you need is nearby. Two metro stations are a 10-minute walk away, which was convenient for a walk.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to parks, art museum, good restaurants, public transportation, and other stores. The floor carpet, clean but aged, makes hauling luggage a bit difficult. But the carpet, also the furniture, seem to give you a hint of the hotel's past. So I wouldn't necessarily rate it as something negative.

An older, but classic and well-appointed hotel. Very comfortable room for four. We only stayed the one night, but we enjoyed tea and cakes in the cafe and found everyone friendly and helpful. Would stay again
