Pros (+) Lovely owners and staff with amazing breakfast. Reasonable price and nice, quiet and peaceful location.
Cons (-) It was very hot in the room as no air con. Mattress was a bit hard for me

Pros (+) Friendly welcome from staff. Parking provided. Location pleasant enough and pub down the road did nice food.
Cons (-) Bath not working and no hot water for shower at night. Hot water was working in the morning.

Pros (+) Traditional family run hotel with an old fashioned atmosphere, in a quintessential English village. The bedroom and shower room were pristine. Excellent breakfast with friendly and professional staff. Scrumptious home made marmalade! Large free car park.
Cons (-) The bedroom under the eaves was a little hot but it's summer after all!

Cons (-) We were very disappointed, our room. 22, looked nothing like the pictures. It was very tired and shabby . The room had been cleaned with so many products, plus strong bleach in the bathroom that I coughed all night. In the bathroom the soap dispenser and bath plug hole were rusty. Breakfast is good, cooked to order. Overall very poor value for money given the state of our room.

Pros (+) Bed linen and towels super clean & fluffy like new. Bathroom and bedroom spotless. Liked the bottle of water in the room and the clean kettle .
Cons (-) Lounges are a bit dated and musty which is a shame .

Pros (+) Sue and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the breakfast freshly cooked, great products and very very tasty.
Cons (-) Wifi was a been temperamental in our room which was outside using an extender. Sue was really helpful and reset but it did go in and out of use whilst there. Fans are provided in the room as they get hot but didn't help much with air flow even with the windows open.
