The location, the staff, the breakfast and the bed.
valet rates ($62 a night[) the bathroom overall, and all the fees and taxes make the room overpriced for what you get.
The Oxford Hotel is absolutely wonderful! It has kept its historical atmosphere with lovely details on panels, staircases and tiling. The view from our room was phenomenal, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff was very welcoming.
Loved the smorgasbord breakfast and one cold morning a real fire was lit. The location was perfect for me because I took the marvelous speedy train from Denver Airport and it left me off one block from the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
No complaints!
Great location, friendly and accommodating staff
Beautiful hotel, staff is amazing and helpful. Clean and with the amenities you don’t event need to leave the hotel.
Everything was great
Cool old hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Downtown location was very convenient and restaurant was great
Beautiful, true to historic
Vent was noisy during night to run fan for street & hallway noise.
Charming historic hotel with excellent customer service. The exterior, lobby, restaurant and bar are gorgeous; the hallways and rooms are very nice. What elevates it to the next level is the clearly ingrained staff culture of care and accommodation. Also appreciated the bourbon tasting (with live music!) and outstanding breakfast, both by the fire.
The restaurant, while stunningly beautiful, seemed a bit over the top, menu-wise (but admittedly we aren’t big steak fans) especially after a long day of travel. Fortunately there were a few other (but not as many as you’d think) options within walking distance.
