5 star celebrity treatment given by the amazing staff. The hotel must be seen to be believed, it is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are full of wildlife and everything in the hotel is of luxurious quality. The staff could not have been more curtious and helpful.
Just make sure you check if they are doing dinner because they don't always, although the cheese board that they provided was really nice.

Grounds and interiors 1st class! Super. Very comfortable room.
Quite noisy being so close to the road. Don’t arrive near 8 pm if you are dining as that is the time for last orders! Set menu. Couple of dishes with supplements which are on the high side. Breakfast is early too!

This is a beautiful old house with good staff. There are excellent views of Ely cathedral from higher floors. We would stay again.
There is no lift. For older or disabled people this may be a limitation. The busy road outside may cause noise in some rooms. It didn’t bother us.
Outstanding place to stay, we had the cathedral room and it was outstanding, large comfortable bed and so much more. Would go back in a heartbeat.
We would have liked a later breakfast and check out, however I didn’t want to leave any time x

I didn’t realise when booking that there was not a restaurant available in the evening either it wasn’t clear on the website or I didn’t read it properly and so we were not prepared and had not booked somewhere nearby.
Superb tea and cake on the terrace with a view of the Cathedral.
