Pros (+) Beautiful space, comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, excellent location. Valet parking was so easy. And Cocotte is delicious.

Pros (+) The Metcalfe Hotel by Gray Collection in Ottawa is a truly wonderful hotel. We've stayed here a few times when seeing family locally and The Metcalfe Hotel has an attention to detail which is much appreciated. The hotel restaurant Cocotte Bistro has delicious food at the restaurant and for room service. We highly recommend The Metcalfe Hotel & Cocotte Bistro to fellow travelers.

Pros (+) Great location and a cool vibe to the hotel. Easy (and cheap) parking at city hall nearby.
Cons (-) Can be a little loud as the the sound downstairs echos up to the higher levels via the atrium.

Pros (+) The staff is friendly and the location is good with cafes and supermarkets nearby
Cons (-) The shower water was lukewarm not hot, we stayed on the 6th floor and I don't know if it was because of the penthouse or if it was like that throughout the hotel. But luckily the heating in the room was hot enough and we didn't ask for a room change as we only booked a two night stay!

But… In a $200 room, there are no: • Disposable toothpaste tube and toothbrush. • Disposable slippers like in all Turkish hotels. • Shoe horn. • Toilet brush. • Air freshener in the bathroom.
