Pros (+) I love staying at The Mercer whenever I’m in New York. Location, super staff, perfect rooms, extra perfect baths, relaxing lounge. Some afternoons I don’t even go out!
Cons (-) Easier access to porterage out of regular hours would be nice.

Pros (+) I was pleasantly surprised by the Mercer. The staff are definitely the highlight (shout out to Joshua) in how friendly and helpful they are. It’s nice that the lobby is just for guests. The room was spacious and they welcomed me with a cookie from Laduree! You can also book a small gym room to work out in, or go to the partner gym if you want something more elaborate. Location is excellent too.
Cons (-) I can’t really think of anything.

Pros (+) Everything. The attention to detail was exceptional & the team displayed outstanding customer service. The best example of this was on arrival by taxi, my card was rejected for payment & I didn't have sufficient cash. Doorman Jacob suddenly appeared & paid with his own money to settle the fair. Just incredible!
