Lots of character, great position, helpful staff
Very small bedroom, windows hadn’t been cleaned on the outside for years, bathroom so tight that the shelf above the sink meant you couldn’t get your head down to wash your face after shaving.
Location
Constant sounds of construction where our first room was. Got moved and then noise of old vents. Not nice staff.
Good location in the village. Rooms were small like most NewYork City hotels but adequate.
Breakfast service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes and no one would wait on us. We had to leave without breakfast due to an appointment time.
Ambiance and proximity to so much!
Super tiny room for two people, but for only 3 nights it was fine
Great location and loved the decor.
Limited space for guests to relax in the lobby area or be outside their rooms.
We enjoyed the sophisticated, vintage ambience and the lobby bar & restaurant.
No complaints.
Very friendly staff. Great location. A cozy vibe. Excellent coffee and decent breakfast. Charming setting and decor. They are upfront about the tiny size of the room--and that's find. Did not really want to hear the guest next door and their friend.
breakfast, pleasant staff an location
super small rooms and no gym or access to a gym
Room was very cozy and well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable with high thread count sheets. Everything was very clean and the mood in the lobby was inviting. Fantastic location with excellent accessibility to subway station and Washington Square Park around the corner.

The heating was very inefficient (very old building). The service and staff was a bit of mixed bag. Wonderful waiter at breakfast and was offered a water while waiting for a cab. The front desk staff was somewhat stand-offish but ...Read more
