The location & the Terrace
We had issues with the shower, the wardrobe, and no hairdryer. There was no one on site to speak too, only the cleaner ( who didn't speak English). I contacted the company via messages. The shower & hairdryer were sorted, the wardrobe door still didn't fit. Location
Small cramped room, no view, musty smell, slippery shower, dark.
Spectacular location
Here is some feedback. While the location was spectacular, and the room clean. There are things that are common reasonable expectations. 1) Kleenex in the room - had to buy that myself 2) soap dispenser for body wash didn’t work, had to use shampoo to wash my self every day 3) WiFi for room 307 didn’t exist, had to use a different room. 4)TV set up was wonky and confusing 5) having more comfortabl...Read more
Excellent location! I would stay there again.
Very hard to find parking.
Extremely clean and was comfortable. Kitchenette was well stocked with everything you need.
Close to the beach. The patio was excellent in the morning to drink your coffee and watch the sunset at night. Also very close walk to train depot where commuter train regularly runs from San Diego. You don’t need to rent a car to enjoy Oceanside if you stay at Marbella.
The room had a great view. I loved the amenities in the room and the patio in the front where you could sit and relax. I also liked that you provided folding chairs for guests to use on the beach. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were soft and clean. It was all wonderful.
The light switch in the bathroom was behind the door which made it a bit tricky to turn on/off the lights. Not a big deal, but just something I noticed.
Street parking - even with the parking permit was spotty at best. Shower was too small for me, I'm a muscular athlete and I had difficulty getting clean. King sized sheets on the full sized bed were cumbersome and entangling. The TV wouldn't quit buzzing, even when turned off. Restrictions on the fridge temperature were such that my beer wasn't cold. Loved the view from my room and the sounds of the waves. The bed was comfortable.
My car got stuck in the garage as there was a broken spring. I contacted the property manager. They were able to get someone over to fix it by the next afternoon. I expected a little bit more from the property for the amount I paid. Because my car was stuck, I did a lot of walking to town. Great stay for the value. Trevor was great and allowed us to check in early. Location is amazing and amenities are just as described. Walkability to beach, shops and restaurants, would definitely stay here again!
