I stayed in the wooden rice paddy view cottage - it was incredible. The views, the peace, the people. It felt like everything you dream of in Bali.
The breakfast could be improved
My stay here was all round bad
The room was mouldy, breakfast was like a 1 star hotel, unhygienic practices at breakfast by staff (returning uneaten croissant from my table to buffet..), room service food was terrible too.
The service was remarkably good. Staff are well trained. I enjoyed the traditional massage session at the Spa overlooking the rice fields. The property is nestled in a jungle which gives a truly rewarding retreat. It is eco friendly and nice.
There was a stray cat that kept coming to my villa and made it impossible to dine outside my villa. This took away from the experience. My toilet had a smell and I didn’t like that the closet was placed in the toilet/bathroom. The room was large enough to accommodate the closet. I woke up to loud incantation sounds outside my villa for 2 consecutively days.
The breakfast buffet was delicious and the food kept changing everyday
Change of bedsheets should improve
This little oasis sits in a quiet area just south of downtown Ubud. Facilities are well maintained and our villa with private pool was spacious and perfectly comfortable. Driving into the city takes about 10 minutes and we had no trouble getting cabs. There's a supermarket just outside the entrance, and the hotel is in walking distance to the superb restaurant Wedja.
The restaurant was alright but there are many even better food options in and around Ubud.

Nothing can't complain about anything
The design of the hotel was beautiful, the lobby and pools were stunning. Breakfast was incredibly. Rooms were very spacious. The price was extremely reasonable considering how nice the hotel was. Also 7 mins walk away from the beach and some lovely restaurants nearby. Not too far from the airport
This is being very picky, but I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t supply separate hair conditioners, body wash and shampoo, they just had the all in one.
Great staff! Very friendly. Clean. Good breakfast.
There were gekko lizards inside the room :) i guess it’s normal for Bali but thought it might be useful to know
