This is an old hotel located right next to the river in central Chiangrai. It is located about 150 metres from the Blue Temple. We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor. The room was huge by modern standards. The floor was polished wood. The bathroom was enormous with separate shower and bath rooms. The air conditioner while old was quiet. Pros (+) Big comfortable room with a large comfortable bed. Extremely clean. The resort grounds are very nice. The staff is very friendly. The pool is huge and has elephant statuary on the corners. What's not to love about that?
Cons (-) The location is out on the periphery of Chiang Rai. The good news is that Chiang Rai is not that big, so you can walk (long walk) to the core of the city. That said: there's not much to see in the actual core of the city. All of the important sights to see in Chiang Rai are even farther out on the periphery, with one notable exception: the Blue Temple. And that is a VERY short walk from the resort...

1. Great private space in balcony amidst nature. 2. Good breakfast options. Even for vegetarians. 3. Accessible and close to many popular attractions. Atleast 5 major attractions in 3-4km circle.

Pros (+) The views all around are amazing. I could see the big Buddha out of my front door. And the pool and river out of the window. The pool is very nice. Always get the breakfast. Free bicycles to ride, which is a sort ride to the Blue Temple. 24-hour laundry mat within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons (-) The toilet was difficult. You had to flush several times. But being careful not to overflow it... The pool is a little difficult to get into if you have mobility issues.
