The design.
Parking was a nightmare and the houseless people and street garbage………devastating!
Excellent Customer Service
Liked everything
Clean, basic accommodations that work well if you need to get to the LA Convention Center on foot. The restaurant / coffee area is very cute; love the boutique feel of the Hoxton's common areas.
The price point for the accommodations provided is fairly high. There is almost no storage in the smaller rooms, except for a cabinet that is placed over the mini fridge (so everything inside the cabinet gets warm). No shelves, bathroom drawers, or shoe / clothing / suitcase racks are provided, which makes this a difficult spot for anything except a brief staycation.
My husband and I had such a pleasant stay. Everything was clean, great customer service throughout. Ray up on the rooftop was really great!! The rooftop was nice! We will be back for sure.
This was a return stay. We love the staff, the charm of the hotel and the location.

Funky boutique hotel. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Great water pressure in shower
Not a lot in this neighbourhood but we did find some cute cafes
The room is good: great bed and shower. Refrigerator works well.
Missing a better space to organize my clothes, bedside drawers are not great. Lobby restroom was really dirty and stinky. No vending machines.
The room was the perfect size. Enough room to move around and be comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well.
Challenging were the wall switches for the lights. We never got the hang of them during our stay.
We have stayed in Hoxton hotels in Europe and loved them. This time we were actually fleeing fire so it wasn’t so much a pleasure trip. Still, the staff was amazing the room was nice, clean and had an amazing view. The style at all hoxton properties is really cool and this one is no exception. We will stay there again under better circumstances and recommend it to friends when they visit.
I wish they had some larger rooms but it’s an old building so I understand.
The hotel interior is super nice, the diner offer healthy breakfast options, overall the stay was smooth and the tiny breakfast bag service is a cute highlight.
Visiting LA for work, the humidity in the air is very low compare to where I come from, would feel much more welcome if the water can is more than 1 bottle per person. Also, the water can delivery time range from 15-40mins, would be greatly appreciated if the speed is more stable.
