There was no separate residence lounge area, was very crowded with people on laptops etc during the day, so we could not enjoy the hotel as a guest.
The location and the restaurant downstairs and bar were good. The staff were awesome
I felt my room felt a little bit too small if I were to compare it side by side the cost of the hotel. I could have gotten a bigger space in other 5 star hotels.

We chose a canal view superior room and the room that was firstly allocated to us was under canal side but had small windows and a lot of beams / attic like. We asked to change and had a lovely room, smaller but with a much better view.
The staff was friendly and always willing to engage in helpful conversation.
The breakfast that was delivered each morning to the room included sugar-filled breakfast bars that I did not like. Also, on the last morning, I received an overly ripe banana. The juice was delicious, though!
The Hoxton is always beautiful and a fun place to stay. The rooms were brilliant and the place has a great vibe.
The bar staff were extremely slow for the whole weekend. We spent numerous time periods in the bar each/ lounge and found the service to be lacking. We would have drank and spent much more but it took so long to get a round of drinks we always gave up after having one drink.
It was hip but comfortable without being pretentious. Great staff, food and cocktails. Room was stylish and we slept well with a beautiful view of the canal.

This is a great location and the bar area is really cosy. the room had a great canal view and great shower.
Bar service was very slow, room was so poorly we had to use a torch!! Working in room with the awful lighting was impossible and air con rubbish.
Location couldn't be better. Hotel has a lovely atmosphere if you're looking for a fun and fancy weekend in the city. The rooms are lovely but there isn't a lot of wardrobe space so book a bigger room if that's what you need.
The menu was often half sold out every time you tried to order. A lottt of people come here from across the city and other tourists and so this isn't the place if you wanted a quieter stay with lots of hotel social room.
