The location, staff and food were exceptional. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we needed. Jude and Victoria were very professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast staff were very attentive too.
The music played during dinner was far to loud and intrusive. Certainly not background level or suitable music for dining to! Unfortunately, it was more in keeping with a sports bar rather than a quiet country hotel! We really couldn't relax and enjoy our meal or conversation because of it.

Very tastefully renovated C14 pub with clean, modern facilities and exceptional interior design.
Everything was amazing
Great place hidden in quiet village which is beautiful just to walk around especially with the dog. We stayed just for one night as it is was our stop after we were driving to Cornwall. Staff personnel is lovely. Pub looks great. Dog very friendly. Massive 9/10
It wasn’t busy but my room was just about above the outside of pub area so I assume during busy times this must be very loud until late (weekends maybe?). Music was still on till around 10pm. Otherwise this was great stay. Thanks

You couldn’t find a more comfortable, professionally run and enjoyable hotel/pub/restaurant than this Amazing welcoming staff Facilities excellent and definitely a good location for exploring the wonders of the Cotswolds
