The staff at the Avalon was super nice and great with recommendations for local spots to go and see as well as eat. Julie and Gary were exceptional!
We were checking out at the other property Southpoint since they had just acquired Avalon…thank goodness I asked for a copy of my final bill and seen they had double charged me for our stay! I had a copy of our original receipt proving I paid it with me to check out. Very friendly and attentive staff.
We loved the friendliness of the staff. Big shout out to Keith & Gary! They go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We loved the 2nd floor porch, the homemade cookies left in the lobby every day. The breakfast was delicious! The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The homey feeling abounds in this property! We hope nothing ever changes as we plan to make this our mains...

I loved my room this time, I was on the second floor with a "balcony" (also the landing of the steps) overlooking the pool, unfortunately the view was intruded on by the beautiful trees and gave the "balcony" a beautiful "private" feel to it. Couldn't have asked for a better room!!!

I loved the room decor, the cleanliness of the bed and breakfast, the food, the pool...EVERYTHING!
There wasn't anything I didn't love about this property.
Staff is wonderful; breakfast is delicious and decor is beautiful! It's also great that champagne can be purchased on site! :)

Location was great, the building is old 1895 but well keep.
