This hotel has some special aspects, amazing gardens and views, beautiful architecture and warm cosy furniture. The food here is also superb.
I found the spa pool dirty black areas in several areas of the pool tiles and harsh chlorine made my skin itch I used to use this pool and not have these issues as I was a member The bed was a bit hard and springy I prefer memory foam or pocket sprung with topper
The warm welcome and the opportunity to access our room much earlier, as it was available on the day. The friendliness, commitment and overall service from staff is quite overwhelming. Every member couldn’t do enough. They were polite and accommodating at all times.
Bath robes are very small. My husband is slim and it only just fastened. This little detail has no impact on our decision to go back. We will definitely be staying again. We loved it!

Lovely accommodating staff, great facilities, wonderful setting, very large and clean room - one of the best stays we have experienced in a while.
We loved the food but dinner portions were a little on the small side. I would definitely recommend guests to eat earlier in the day prior to arriving to stay. We ate nothing all day as we wanted to save ourselves for dinner but my partner was still so hungry even after two courses. The food we did have was delicious nevertheless

Everything was great except the dinner at the restaurant. Mains could be improved. We dined outside the next day for half the price in a Michelin restaurant.
