Pros (+) The hotel is truly beautiful with a magnificent view on the memorial. The rooftop pool is also amazing with a view over the city and the neighbourhood. We loved being in a quiet place in the middle of the busy city
Cons (-) The arrival in the building is a little weird. Since it's a building shared with offices and apartments you are not welcome by the hotel staff but by a security guard downstairs. Anyone can also access your floor through elevator without having to check in the hotel first and no one is there to check. It felt a bit strange. The gym is tiny and not very well equipped. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Excellent service, location, cleanliness etc. We only stayed for 1 night but could check in early with no problem. We had a late evening flight on the day we checked out and were proactively contacted to see whether we would like a late check out and were told we could keep our room as late as we wanted which made a huge difference to our last day. Booked two executive suites, was accomodated in whatever was available. Since someone is not willing to check out and extending their stay doesn’t mean that the next guest has to sacrifice on the type of rooms as well as the experience. Got a food bill which was never ours. Reluctancy or carelessness is the last thing someone would expect.
