From check-in to departure the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The restaurant menu offers a small but enjoyable, well presented selection of dishes, along with daily ‘Specials’, and a good wine selection. A great freshly cooked and well presented breakfast.
We had a comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated room. Food, both dinner and breakfast was excellent, and we liked that breakfast was served until 10 without having to pre-select. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Although there is a small customer car park, there is ample free parking close by

Everything! Friendly staff, the genuine vibe of tradition british pub and the rooms also also the food. Breakfast was delicios and also dinner and the portions ware good sized
The accommodation was excellent clean, comfortable and well decorated and clean. Beds extremely comfortable bathroom and shower area lovely all looked new. Really comfortable night sleep. Although I enjoyed the ambience created by the quirky eclectic decor (sort of traditional english pub vibe with a twist). For me it looked a bit tired and like it needed a really good clean, carpets were shabby threadbare, armchairs had dust and dirt on them and tables and floor was sticky. Generally a good stay as usual
Disappointed that the television did not work properly in our room. Sorry to say the bed matrass was poor so we both had an uncomfortable night's sleep each night.
The breakfast was fantastic and the service was great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The booking in was simple. The room was very clean, tidy and warm. The evening meal was excellent and all the staff were great.
Absolutely perfect stay. The food at George is insane, such good value for money and the service around the food was top level. The room itself had a very comfortable bed and a good TV with choices for tea and coffee. The bathroom itself had everything you need to make do.
