Pros (+) The house is beautifully restored and decorated, within walking distance to downtown, and very comfortable. Beds and breakfast were 10/10. Ronald and Caroline are great hosts.

Pros (+) We were greeted with a warm welcome from Carolyn & Ranald. Accomodation was spotlessly clean. Breakfast fabulous especially the Black Pudding. Location was ideal 20 minutes walk into the town centre where we enjoyed an evening at Hootenanys where enjoyed an evening of live Scottish music and a good cottage pie.

Pros (+) Perfectly clean and cozy B&B, with a very comfortable bed. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations for nice restaurants in the area. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious.

Pros (+) Location was great! I was attending a conference at Kingsmill Hotel and this was a perfect distance between that location and the city centre. I felt I had access to everything needed. The hosts, Ranald and Caroline, were extremely attentive and kind! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Gatehouse.

Pros (+) The gentleman & lady running the house were so kind & helpful to me. I loved staying at this house as the breakfast was lovely too. It’s close to main area of Inverness. It is very historical at this house. I highly recommend this place for you to stay a night or two
