The view from our room was just a back street
Brilliant location for staying in Asakusa: right next to the various Asakusa train stations, and basically across the road from the Senso Ji temple and Nakamise Street. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfasts were good, with a fine view of the city from the breakfast room. My room was very quiet.
I can’t think of anything.
Our hotel was only a block from the beautiful (& oldest) temple in Tokyo, the Senso-ji Temple. There were lots of small & interesting shops in a very walkable area, like a toy capsule store & another store selling strawberry everything: smoothies, saki, whiskey, beer. We also enjoyed walking along the riverfront of Sumida Park (& river). Great views of the Skytree from Sumida Park & from the lobby...
Everything especially the lounge
check in was OK
Nobody to help us even book a Taxi and Reception all teh way up is not practical. Getting help from staff was difficult
The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. They offered some ammenties such as a mini fridge, hairdryer, disposable razor, toothbrush with mini toothpaste, and others. The tv and wifi worked well, too. We were able to use netflix. The location was great as it is right next to Sensoji temple, 20-minute walk from Tokyo Skytree, and a 15 mins subway ride from Ueno Park. The view from the main recep...
Furniture in the room was scuffed and had marks, though this didn't bother us. The bathroom lock was broken, but that didn't matter either. There were no other issues with the room.Read more
I came to Asakusa for a business trip, and this was my first time staying at this hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. The entrance on the ground floor is a bit hard to spot and quite dim, which initially made me worry that the hotel might be old and run-down. But once I stepped into the lobby, the bright lighting and the stunning view of the Skytree and the Asakusa Temple area immediately put me at eas...
The only small downside was that the light switches were a bit hard to find inside the room, and the lighting was slightly dim. It would’ve been perfect if it were a bit brighter.Read more
The bar is wonderful as you can see the Tokyo Skytree. Location is great as train stations are very close.
Unfortunately, the room was much darker and smaller than i anticipated. With two suitcases, it was quite a squeeze. Additionally, there were marks left on the desk and I had several strains of hair on several towels. During our two weeks in Japan this was the only hotel where we had issues with cleanliness.
The location is excellent, close to tourist spots and close to the subway. The views from the reception are awesome.
I can't really fault it. Enjoyed everything.
