Pros (+) A small inn, Galloway House, is a charming old house on the south end of the Savannah historic district. There are lots of very good restaurants and some shops within walking distance of the house. It is a little too far from the downtown/river front to walk, but that area can be easily reached with local transportation. Pros (+) Adequate off street parking, appeared to be a safe neighborhood with some restaurants close.
Cons (-) The steep stairs to the carriage house apartment were quite narrow and you had to be very careful going up and down. A little further from the 'action' than what we cared for. While kitchen was adequate, there was only the coffee table to eat from.
