Pros (+) Elegant, professional staff, great location. And, it was actually reasonably priced. Around $330 USD per night.
Cons (-) Limited restaurant options in the hotel. Two of the dining facilities had been permanently shut down, including the rooftop bar. The Jade Restaurant had been recommended to me, but I (and the other two guess dining with me) thought it was just OK.

Pros (+) The service from Straits Club staff was absolutely top notch from the moment we arrived. There were delicious choices in the club lounge every day & tge pool was a lovely place to relax after sightseeing

Cons (-) I made the mistake of booking a room overlooking the courtyard. Didn’t realise the courtyard was under cover and our view overlooked the Courtyard area inside the hotel. This made the very comfortable room dark and we always had to have a light on. My own fault completely but am posting this to help someone else choose the right room.

Pros (+) I love the hotel , services and location. I would come back again.
Cons (-) Only one thing i have found in my room#562 when i was staying the bottom corner of the shower screen was sharp. I got a bit of scratch from it nothing major.
