The architecture, location, staff and breakfast were all outstanding.
Not a lot they can do,but many rooms look down on an enclosed atrium which is a bit dark and claustrophobic. Defo go for a room with a view.
A historic building in Singapore with luxury everywhere. Tastefully turned from historic building to a beautiful hotel. I had a lovely, elegant room with a sitting outside terrace and all the amenities. The staff is extremely responsive and made my stay very comfortable. They offered me late checkout which was very helpful
I had a very strange experience as plugging in the iron (supplied in the room) short circuited entire room. Called and they came quickly to repair but when I again plugged in iron it happened again. I was then asked to report to front desk manager. I was annoyed that I got a homework item in addition to being inconvenienced twice. But once I spoke to front desk manager he was very gracious and off...Read more
They offered me the late check out which was very helpful.
Well only the bed
Service is really bad, I don’t know how a 5?star hotel can have these bad service. On top of these they gave us our room late and when we arrive to the room what a disaster it was verry moldy and smelly. I had right away allergy and I called to change the room which they did bonus for that.

I discovered I was allergic to the bathroom soaps. As they were in dispensers I had no way of knowing for sure what I was using, and a selection was not available. Fortunately the Seven 11 was close by and I was able to purchase a skin sensitive product. I found the rooms a little dated but was not unduly bothered as it is a heritage buildingRead more
Everything couldn’t fault a thing
Absolutely nothing
Lovely clean bright room, great gym, sorry I did not have time to use the pool. Location was a short walk from the expo centre and great for places to eat out. Staff fantastic
I love the buffet breakfast. The hotel is beautiful and the service is always exceptional.
Location , close to restaurants, attractions and shops. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room with the balcony was very clean and comfortable.
I loved it all .
Elegant, professional staff, great location. And, it was actually reasonably priced. Around $330 USD per night.
Limited restaurant options in the hotel. Two of the dining facilities had been permanently shut down, including the rooftop bar. The Jade Restaurant had been recommended to me, but I (and the other two guess dining with me) thought it was just OK.
