Pros (+) Room excellent. Very comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful - but reception usually unstaffed: a real mistake.
Cons (-) The hotel car park is truly dreadful. Very difficult to find, extremely cramped, and tricky to get into. Parking in the Long Stay car park next to the hotel is a much better option (at a cost). The hotel is full of character, but much of it is shabby: it needs an upgrade. Breakfast is OK, but not outstanding. Poor sausages. Poor bread selection.

Pros (+) The age and character of the property makes a stay here very special - it’s absolutely stunning. The rooms are a joy to stay in and despite their age, all the facilities you would need are provided to a very high standard. Attention to detail and cleanliness are evident and the staff provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome, where nothing is too much trouble.

Pros (+) The Feathers is a great find! The hotel is comfortable, really pretty and just a great place to stay! The staff are so helpful and really lovely!
