Everything! Beautiful room, excellent location, great breakfast, exceptional staff - huge thank you to Albert who was wonderful - organising different restaurants, food tours, sights to see and anything else we wanted to know.

Excellent hotel, from historic materials to extremly friendly staff. Location is also the best ị Georgetown. Mr Albert is verry supportive. Dont hesitate to book this hotel, it's worth every penny

The pool water should be better maintained for cleanliness.
Friendly helpful staff who were generous with time in offering advice and answering questions. It was lovely to be able to sit and have a complimentary glass of wine during happy hour each afternoon. The bed was extremely comfortable and the atmosphere of the hotel was charming.
For us the hospitality was great and want to give a shout out to Albert and his team. Although it was a short stay it has been one of the best stays so far in Penang and we have stayed in many places. location was great there was parking complimentary light refreshments pool
due to the preservation of the beautiful architecture just be very careful of the steep stairs. Its not neccesary a negative thing but with age catching up just need to be extra caution.
Beautiful heritage building, very quiet, great service from friendly staff including Albert, Andrew and Chris. Fresh cooked breakfast nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean room. Beautiful pool to cool off in. Great location.
Nothing to complain about. But steep stairs if your room is upstairs. We booked ground floor room.
Beautiful building with spacious rooms, a lovely lounge/breakfast area and a shaded pool. Perfect for exploring GeorgeTown. The staff were great and very helpful offer plenty of recommendations. We had breakfast included, snacks and cold drinks whenever you like in the lounge area and umbrellas to protect you from the sun (use them!!). Would highly recommend.
A small thing but a door rather than a curtain on the bathroom would be nice to offer a bit more privacy.
