Pros (+) Loved the feel of a building over 100 years old but with a good mix of modern for a comfortable stay. The restaurant was busy and good food and no one there was a stranger. Really nice experience for choosing a spot we had never been to

Pros (+) I had a good meal at the attached restaurant (check in is at the bar). The people were nice.
Cons (-) There is a train nearby that blew it's horn for five straight minutes around midnight. It was very disruptive and hard to get back to sleep.

Pros (+) This is an attractively remodeled building in the historic area of Rupert. It was not originally a hotel so the place is a little quirky and has character but the room is comfortable. The bed and chairs were comfortable. The room was attractive. The bathroom was quite large and nice for a basic hotel room. It was very quiet except for the trains which they had no control over.
Cons (-) It was a little tricky checking in after hours. You do it by going into the bar and talking with the staff there. There was a phone number on the door to call so I tried that first and the first number resulted in a message with instructions and the second with a person who gave instructions. Both were polite and friendly. The staff in the bar were very nice. My only real complaint is they need to...
