Great staff, really helpful and friendly. Offered me dog bedding and bowls. Lovely atmosphere in the pub. Location beautiful. Room in courtyard which made it easy to take the dog out for a wee. Newly renovated so may be teething problems. The door has a voile curtain which when the light is on is see through and looks directly at the bed. We put the coat stand in front and used our coats to cover the window. A curtain or blind would solve this and block the light in the morning. The blind beside the bed is faulty and only turns with slats inwards again allowing morning light in.Read more
Very quiet , pleasant accomodation out the back of the local pub .
There is absolutely no phone reception so a major issue as I was travelling on business from New Zealand , in my opinion this should be made known to any potential customers , no TV in the room , no desk to work at - perfect i guess if you are on holiday but not for a business traveller
Simply a perfect room in a fabulous pub. The welcome and staff were fabulous / they squeezed us in a busy Sunday service - and the food is exceptional. The rooms had the best view and is just cool. The facilities are perfect and appropriate. The village is picturesque and the walks perfect.

Multiple ways to enter the property even if you are out late, early check in, WiFi included, all necessary facilities included including cereal. The food was delicious. Able to pay by credit card despite remote location with no WiFi outside the cottage.
While I did appreciate the taxi numbers given, I'd hope for the car to be called as there may be a partnership between the property and the firms which could ease our travels when we didn't have a car.

beautiful old pub in a truly beautiful village. Food, drink, staff and accomodation all great. Accomodation is in converted stables to the rear of the pub, very tranquil. We will definitely stay again
