Cons (-) Upon booking, the confirmation email(in small writing) advised that a $150 deposit would be taken upon arrival and that it would be refunded 14 days after our (one night) visit. Due to the exchange rate on our card we didn’t realise until after we left that they had actually taken a $430 deposit from our card, triple the advised amount, with no reason as to why. Pros (+) Beautiful interiors, cute cafe, comfortable beds, great bathroom amenities. Love the personality and character of the hotel.
Cons (-) The reception were not friendly or helpful - the hotel room wasn't ready at the 4pm check-in time and we had to wait until 5pm to check-in and the only explanation we got was "it's one of those days".
