Wonderful hotel with old world charm and modern amenities. From the minute we walked in the door we were hooked. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable and the room was lovely. There is a cozy piano bar in the evenings with true mixologists. Location was perfect. The only downside was that the hotel was undergoing renovation to add a rooftop bar but it did not impact our stay at all.Read more
The location is great, all the staff with the except of one bartender were very well trained, personable and loved working at this family-owned hotel. Great central location for walking or easy cab service. Rooms are typical for older European hotel properties - small. They were clean, well appointed, but lacked room for one traveling with large suitcases.
We enjoyed cocktails many evening in the beautifully appointed bar. Two evenings in succession the male bartender pitched empty glass bottles into the garbage container (filled with glass bottles} the crashing sound ruined the great ambiance.
Beautiful hotel - rooms are clean, well appointed and comfortable. Location is central and staff were fantastically helpful and kind.

The place is great, very central! Close to many major attractions.
The hotel was under renovation and there wasn't any view from my room, as well as, during the day there was some noise from the workings.
We stay here several times a year, we are always happy with the piano bar as the staff are always excellent, the beds a very comfortable and the rooms are always clean , as said before the staff are always brilliant
Sadly on this visit , we were woken up by building work being done at 6 50am, I feel this is too early especially as it seemed to be directly outside our room and we could hear everything.
