Pros (+) Ideal location for visiting Edinburgh attractions and convenient for meeting local friends. Wonderful to have private parking in the centre of a city.
Cons (-) Everything was perfect: great breakfast, helpful staff, well appointed room. We think the 'muzak' at breakfast was intrusive and could have been better chosen.

Rachel, May 2025
Pros (+) Staff were very friendly (first class service), view from window was amazing, breakfast was nice. Impressive cocktail and whisky menu.
Cons (-) Definitely more expensive than we would normally pay, but felt if everything's expensive in Edinburgh, why not pay a bit more and treat ourselves. Room was slightly on the warm side.

Audrey, May 2025
Pros (+) The experience was absolutely magnificent, the room, the welcome, and the services were fabulous, except for one small thing that really bothered me: drinking at the bar and having the bill thrown onto the table by the redheaded woman with glasses is something that I hope won't happen again in the future; it was totally unacceptable. Apart from that, my stay was idyllic.
