The hosts were clearly veterans at hospitality. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves and learned so much about changes in the tourism industry through the years in northern Canada and New Zealand. The food, wine and hospitality were quite frankly fantastic. Treat yourself to an escape soon. Highly recommend
Nothing. This was our first stay as we research expanding our own luxury resort and we were so grateful fir the help and the fantastic visit.
The breakfast was superb. And I loved the location, a stunning view.
The location is exceptional! The lounge, the dinner room and the terrace are extremely lovely. It has an eco feel, and the owners want to go further in that direction which I encourage them to do! It is a family business too, and we found the time that we spent with the other guests in the lounge and the dinner room really nice!
We had to skip (the included) breakfast at the property because the hosts could not serve us before 8.30 and we had booked an activity that required us to leave the place at 8. Even though the hosts offer us a bottle to compensate for it, it did upset me a bit. Also, the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear the TV playing and other things from our lovely neighbours' room!
Breakfast was astounding. The warm welcome and service was phenomenal. The view / decor / deck / room / private balcony were all of the highest order. We will return again

The view from the lodge is amazing!!! Also everyone was very friendly and hospitable :) We will definitely come back to this place

Had the best two nights at the lodge, in our lovely and clean room with a beautiful view. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfasts. Wish we had stayed longer!
Breakfast was delicious, perfect amount and lovely variation each morning. Far better than a big greasy eggs benedict.

Absolutely need a car if you stay here. Overpriced.
