The hotel is exceptional on all standards
Professional service very efficient
Perfect location. Delightfully comfortable beds. Absolutely exquisite pool and garden if you’re not unlucky to hit on a posh local wedding or just inexplicably loud poolside disco.
Otherwise the once-gem is a bit like an ancient temple in the hands of barbarians. Very badly controlled, no-zoning, uncozy lighting. You have to ask for everything, from cleaning to elaborations on extras. Sickeningly monotonous breakfasts. A very nice 5 star hotel with great amenities, the room very nice, the spa, the pool, the breakfast, the staff, everything great! And in the centre of the city.
The two small things with a small negative impact are that in such a hotel, there is staff that does not speak fluent english, and the second and worst that during the check in the member of the staff who was dealing with us made a question that brought us in a difficult position. Excellent facilities

the spa was closed.. so no access to sauna, hammaam, etc…. Really was a dampener on the stay
All aspects of my stay at the hotel were excellent. If I am to give any constructive criticism of my experience at the hotel is that the staff servicing the hotel guests around the pool area fell short with both courtesy and attentiveness. Apart from that my stay was exceptional and I will highly recommend the hotel to all and look forward to my next visit there.
Staff around the pool are very lax and not very courteous and attentive, which did not match the rest of the staff at the hotel.
