We ordered room service. for main we had 2 beef Angus burgers. The burgers were so terrible we could not eat it. The bread bun was completly stale, it was impossible to bite into it, it seems like it was a week old. We tried to eat the meat only, but it was raw inside. The food must be improved. A magnificent hotel with great staff and very average cuisine !
The property has a grand appearance, but is rather soulless as a hotel. Its vastness in some of its public rooms is accentuated by its emptiness of guests. It makes for a very ‘cold’ experience as a guest. Breakfasts were very good with a good selection and the staff were attentive to the few guests in attendance.
As stated the hotel is rather soulless. The few guests resulted in the hotel having no feel to it. Restaurant facilities weren’t open due to lack of guests, some were closed but offered their menus in a combined dining area. Fantastic hotel with great shuttle services for skiing, delicious and rich breakfast, super SPA and very friendly personnel.
As we were a large group, there was a bit of a chaos with the rooms set up (twint vs double).

It is a beautiful property very well placed in Davos. Nice spa with pool and hot tub.
Slow internet unless you join their loyalty programme! All 5 star hotels have fast internet today. Time to realise reality! Not free parking!

The spa is quite small relative to the large number of rooms in the hotel. During high season, it was difficult to find a sunbed by the pool, and the area was not particularly relaxing due to the number of children playing. There is a small 'Ruhe Raum,' but space is very limited. Ultimately, I was unable to fully enjoy the spa facilities.
Splendid rooms and nice views
Location was good and it was clear it used to be a luxury property
They had recently changed management and the new management had not supported the hotel with personnel. I believe there were less than half the staff they should have. All the staff were unhappy and this was passed to the clients. The systems were not working at all!
