That it was nice,clean and the staff was friendly
The fact that the wifi didn’t work and there was no normal plugs next to the bed to charge your phone only the old usb ports. But here is the dealbreaker. I book 3 nights Tuesday check in and Friday check out. My plans for work changed and I needed to travel to Belgium. Great room with AC (needed because is the top floor below the roof). Clean and very quite.

Very nice hotel. Greatly decorated rooms with a very cozy atmosphere. Great location in a quiet and pittoresque area.
Wifi had restrictions on several website accesses. Breakfast was good but there was a lack of diversity in the ingredients.

Beautiful location in Scheidam, right on the canal. It is just 5 mins walk from the tram stop which will take you into Rotterdam centre in about 20 mins. Lots of lovely local restaurants to choose from. We were able to hire bikes from the hotel and cycle into Rotterdam and out to Delft. The main reason this is an 8 not a 9 was the breakfast. It was quite limited which is ok as the hotel is not that big, but the hot items were left a long time and not very fresh. Perhaps when there are a small number of guests it would be better to make these to order. Although the room was spacious the decor was style over substance. Location.
1.0. The lights hanging over the edge of the bed were to low and I banged my head more than once everyday. 2.0. The shelf holding the cups, tea and coffee etc was to long. Again I banged my head 4 times on the corner of the shelf. Either relocate the shelf or redisgn. Banging my head hurts and I wasn’t happy. 3.0. The room was very cold 4.0. No instant coffee in sachets. Thought this was poor.

It was very cold in the room, the electrical heater we for couldn’t manage and we were sleeping wearing socks
