The location was fantastic, what a cool street and great coffee downstairs too. A bit of a hiccup with check-in, but it was acknowledged and dealt with very professionally.
The beds are very soft - we understand it is a personal preference. But we really wish it was firmer!
Amazing location and great breakout spaces
Location was great. The number of restaurants on property was perfect.
Rooms were dark. Not enough lighting by the door. Bathroom had no exhaust fan. Ice had to be delivered to room. No bucket or ice machine that we could use. No vending machine or market on property.
Beds are comfortable and spaced out. The bathrooms are great with the best water you can soak and shower with.
The main couches of the tv room in several of the rooms from the large pool ones to the other rooms are not to par, they are uncomfortable and the back part slips.
Excellent location and spacious room. Lovely roof top pool area.
The water never got hot in the shower . Ok for a couple of nights but would of been a problem for a longer stay.
Spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and the location was good.
I travel a lot, and this is one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. I showed up at my room the night before a 4 am wakeup due to an early flight to find super loud music outside my window due to an event (DJ) that apparently happens every Thursday night. South Congress Hotel was a great hotel. I was greeted by the concierge and made to feel very welcome. The place was nice - rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was big and comfortable. Good fitness centre, very close to the rooms. Fantastic coffee shop on site which was a big plus.
