Pros (+) Just as pictured, beautiful rooms within walking distance to the old town. Staff were so helpful with organising anything we needed. Lovely massages at the spa and good breakfast choices each morning.
Cons (-) The pool is surrounded by 3 walls so never in the sun- always shaded but not necessarily a bad thing from the intense sun!

Pros (+) Abosltely beautiful decore and I loved the paintings and lanterns everywhere.
Cons (-) We would have liked it to be a bit closer to the main part of old town. A 15-minute walk in 32+ degree heat is quite long, but we appreciated that it was in a quiet location and enjoyed the walk along the river at night.

Pros (+) Son Hoi A Boutique Hotel is a beautiful smaller hotel decorated in French Vietnamese style. It is situated in a little side street away from the busy town centre so very quiet to return to after a busy day out. There is a mini mart/laundry etc across the street also with lovely people. Cons (-) The pool water is quite cold as there is no sun over it, but I found it refreshing after returning from a hot day out. (Some hotel pools in Asia have very warm water - almost like a bath which is too hot for the Asian heat).

Pros (+) Loved our stay here. Great location. Free bikes to cycle to beach, through rice fields and even a short journey to the town. The spa was great, had a massage at a really great price. Artsy vibe with beautiful interior. Definitely recommend getting a room with a balcony. By far our favourite hotel in Vietnam that we stayed in.
