Pros (+) I’ve stayed in a lot of 5* hotels and wasn’t expecting this hotel to be amazing as I wasn’t that knowledgable about Sofitel but this hotel actually was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in Europe, the rooms were amazing, staff were so attentive and helpful. The grounds were lovely, and the mix of the old building with modern fit out was perfect!
Cons (-) I think Breakfast could have done with a buffet, this hotel was order only with a few things to go a choose yourself. The menu was amazing and you had a lot to choose from but the wait time was quite long and what we ordered it wasn’t done how we asked or things were forgotten which was fine, we didn’t complain, just would have been easier going to get the things we wanted or have the option to.

Pros (+) It is truly great experience - staff does all they can to feel you as frequent guest. Location is superb and facilities impressive.
Cons (-) Could be but warmer in the room but that seems to be Amsterdam wide issue - historic buildings ;)
