Staff, location, everything
We went there for our 45th anniversary and they treated us like king and Queen. Thank you Roberto at the front desk for putting us to an exceptional room. Thank you Kayla my sweet concierge for her assistance to picking the best places to go in Panama.
This was an absolutely beautiful hotel with charming touches throughout. Our room was spacious and the view from the balcony was amazing. We had coffee in the morning on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Staff throughout the hotel were attentive and wonderful (special mention to Jesus and Gerrardo and Yazit and other staff at the restaurant). More appearance than substance. There is a clear difference in how guests are treated. Not everything is communicated or shown upfront, especially if you're not booking the premium option – such as with a standard or discounted rate. Lovely hotel. The staff were some of the friendliest and professional that I have encountered in my travels.
The pool area was not great. Did not find it inviting.
Rooftop bar, speakeasy, aesthetically it’s just a beautiful place, coffee shop downstairs was lovely, friendly staff, good food.

That the pool restaurant closed early
I enjoyed the restaurant, and the wonderful customer service. The staff was extremely accommodating.
I didn't like the restroom. It's an older hotel and the bathroom stall could use an upgrade. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell. Staff scrubbed the floors and still there is a musky scent. The bathroom pipes and fixtures are old and the bathroom floors should be replaced.

The most amazing hotel, beautiful, great service, almost magic
The price… but worth it
Everything about the hotel was amazing! Great location, great staff, the room was perfection, the food was delicious, the view from our balcony was exactly as hoped for and the pool was heaven. We couldn't have wished for more.
We LOVED the hotel and everything about our stay, but departure was confusing. At our noon check-out, we ordered to cab for 3 p.m. to our next stop. When we came back to catch the cab, we had no problem retrieving our bags, but were given conflicting information about where to wait for the cab.
