Love the authenticity of the Thailand atmosphere surrounded by the whole resort.
Location - Fantastic location, very private with a stunning sea view and nicely secluded from the other resorts Room size is good even to Asian standards of big rooms and the private pool for the Ocean Front villas also are very nice with plenty of space around it to enjoy the sun
Overall the Six Senses Samui is an absolute disgrace for Six Senses; except for the location, I can’t think of any reasons to stay at this resort in Samui when even some of the cheaper boutique hotels offer a better overall experience. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing and the overall experience comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout our visit. Dan, who went above and beyond in helping us with activity planning and recommendations. We stayed in the pool villa which was lovely, the staff were truly kind and helpful.
A few downsides here, one, is that it’s right on the flight path, planes are constantly flying right in front of you, it’s hard to marry this up with the calibre of hotel and the price. Secondly the prices in the hotel are extortionate compared to the other 5* in the area. Finally the spa way always booked up which was disappointing, the may need to consider longer operating hours to meet demand.

Prepare to encounter quite a few mosquitoes, which is expected given that the resort is surrounded by nature. The gym facilities are somewhat run-down and could benefit from an upgrade.Read more
The view from the hotel in to the bay is fantastic. The staff (in majority) is super friendly, the infinity pool offers a nice swim over a great distance. In the afternoon the staff offers free icecream and the staff at the pool is very attentive. Our room was situated perfectly. The problems we had were compensated in a decent way. Thank you for that.
Reading some reviews about the resort being old and run down triggered me to write an email to the staff asking if this was the case. Their response was that they try to upkeep maintenance with eco friendly products and that I should not worry. Absolutely loved our stay. Excellent service, super cool and comfy room with an incredible sea view, and both the pool and beach area were great too. The spa and gym facilities were also brilliant.
The restaurant at the beach could do with some improvements in both service and food quality.
