A graciously restored New England country manor, the Simsbury 1820 House is located in scenic Farmington Valley on the crest of a hill overlooking historic Simsbury. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the meticulously restored inn retains the integrity of its original design while offering accommodations with modern amenities and personal service. It is truly a merger of two distinct time periods, as you will find impressive features such as original leaded glass windows, finely carved woodwork painstakingly restored to its original grandeur, and working fireplaces in the parlor and hearth room. The Inn's 32 unique guest rooms are decorated with period fabrics and antiques, all with Down feather beds and comforters, Down pillows, and Belgian linen sheets. Guest rooms are equipped with TV's, and have full private baths with hairdryers and ironing boards. Many rooms have 4 poster mahogany beds with canopies.
