Breakfast?
The Rain made us feel like we were camping and there was no regular live tv - not sure why it is called live tv when it's just reruns of old shows
It was absolutely wonderful to find a safe, clean, family style hotel, right across the street from the beach! Thank you so much for making our vacation extra special.
Fabulous location and vibes
Parking was a bit difficult due to other guests not following the protocol.
The Inn has a very peaceful, laid back vibe…100% beach vacation feel. It is also in a great location - close enough to local restaurants and activities, yet far enough to not have to deal with the crowds. There wasn’t anything that I did not like about Inn or the staff. As a side note, I was not aware that they don’t provide typical hygiene amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Fortunately, I had my own with me so it was not a problem. Got to the Inn early and were offered to check in early rather than wait until 3pm! It really helped because we needed an outlet to blend drinks for the beach! The room was small but not in a cramped way, more of intimate which is what I was going for. Beach access is super close and the beach was extremely private. There is a great view of the sunrise as well.
We loved the bright colors, cute cottage-like room, hammocks, tiki hut, inspirational signs and paintings all over the property, friendly atmosphere for our pup, and the terrific staff! And of course the location!!!!
Really no issue.
This was a weekend away , mother and adult son . We have visited most of the coast going south so this was our base to visit St . Augustine, as well as to stay on a smaller independent place. Go for the decor if you are into that. Don't go if you want amenities. Also , we got there at 2.50 m, and were told it was a 9 minute wait to get into the room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Always there if you need something. Nice outside area “tiki bar” available to cook or just sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Available kayaks to rent (cheap) to take out on the river behind the property.
