Pros (+) Just absolutely exceptional hotel from facilities, staff, location etc. one of the best hotels I have stayed at over 45 years of travelling. And still cannot believe the price - thought it was missing a zero. Great breakfast buffet and nice albeit deserted cocktail lounge with jazz every night Staff went beyond call plus a great onsen looking out across the bay. Great dinner at Cantonese test Beca...
Cons (-) Given all the excellent facilities surprised no pool. But otherwise everything one would need

Pros (+) BEST VIEW OF ANY HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN TO. The view of the city and bay from the hotel are absolutely glorious. The breakfast was great, with a very wide selection of both western and Japanese food.
Cons (-) The bed was too stiff for my taste.

Pros (+) We felt welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious, and having a private onsen was a real bonus. They arranged both Japanese and French dinners for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed—truly the best of the best.

The room was clean and spacious with decent amenities but like the rest of the hotel felt a bit dated. Our room had superb views over the city and...

Pros (+) Part of the appeal in staying here was the shuttle bus which I used quite a few times. The view is incredible and kudos to the bus drivers for driving those windy roads so we'll! Unfortunately because the hotel was so busy and it's a huge hotel I didn't really feel like there were many personal touches, it did make me feel like they look after the more affluent clients. The hotel elevators were a ...

The hotel has everything you need, including several restaurants and a convenience store. It's a bit outside of town and up the hill but there is also a shuttle that goes back and forth every 30 mins so it's not a problem at all. Our room was spacious and com...
