Everything fabulous apart from the sky light which let too much noise and light in. I’d change rooms when returning.
Its history and natural beauty of its surroundings
The location was very quiet and peaceful, the food delicious and the rooms very comfortable,would have liked to have stayed longer
Nothing everything was perfect
It was absolutely fantastic. Fab rooms, super food and sitting outside having a drink i can't think of a nicer place. And all the staff was very friendly and professional. Top place!

Quirky and Historic. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Room was well decorated and bathroom modern. Restaurant excellent. Evening meal and breakfast of high quality. Setting really stunning as is countryside leading to the Mill.
Carpets and the room carpet needed more attention when vacuumed and some of the dado rails and tops of accessories had layers of dust on them.
A lovely inn. Quaint and old world. Charming bar and restaurant area. Surrounding area is green and lush. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Evening dinner menu dishes are overly complicated with too many ingredients and ideas when more simple genuinely good British classics preferable This is reflected in the price point. Complexity and price has increased a lot since our previous visits. We struggled to find a starter and a main in which there wasn’t something that put us off by using too many flavours and ingredients.Read more
Wonderful characterful pub with charm throughout. The added little touches of homemade fresh cookies in the room were thoughtful and summed up the hospitality.
Squeaky bed in room 6 and the roof blinds did little to block out the light especially in the long summer days.
Everything about this property was great. It was exactly as I expected. The staff was wonderful. The accommodations were perfect. The food was amazing. I wouldn’t change a thing. This is a great experience.
