I wanted to be as close, comfortable, and luxurious to the event I attended during my stay. Sheraton Grand was my top option. Valet parking was very helpful. Staff was courteous and professional. It was like one big treat for myself.
The ice machine didn't work on the 6th floor, so I went to another floor. I ordered food twice to my room - an okay option if my intent was not to leave the room. Other than that, it was everything I wanted in a central Seattle stay.

My refrigerator in our original room did not work correctly. The upgraded me to the next level room for free.
The lobby Starbucks is a nice amenity. Netflix on the TV is convenient. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional.
The area of town is a little concerning. With noticeable hard drug use nearby. But ultimately not surprising. And the price with city fees and taxes is little high. Yet also not surprising

My stay was disappointing. The room was missing several basic amenities, and I had to call multiple times to request them, with long wait times. The breakfast is so poor comparing to other 4 stars hotels. The check-in staff was unfriendly and placed a hold on my card for the full stay, even though I paid using a different method. Location to pike place
No place to eat after hours
Proximity to various locations including restaurants, and other tourist attractions. Also enjoyed credits for certain designated restaurants and Uber.
Would like to have had a gift shop to purchase items needed.
Very annoying that you don't disclose the additional $28 destination fee at time of booking. It borders on deceptive, but it is without a doubt an incredibly non-customer friendly practice. It shows a lack of backbone that you only inform the customer of this just a few days prior to arrival. Several of my colleagues complained about this as well. It's a huge trustbuster.
The hotel location is excellent. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, and conveniently located for the conference centres. The gym and pool have good hours of operation.
Staff couldn't recommend any nearby restaurants or answer basic questions about the neighbourhood. They offered to Google things, but I was hoping for personal knowledge. One staff member said she wasn't familiar with the area (downtown). From check in to check out, everything was just as smooth as it possibly could ever be
Only minor, but if pool was open 24 hours, would have just been perfect. But not a big deal at all
