Pros (+) I stayed in this hotel during Covid for business trips and quite liked this place. I took my wife here for a short holiday but frankly it was below my expectation. Overall the staff were very friendly and my wife quite liked the free desert sent to our room every evening. The location is fantastic and the hotel is 10 mins walk to the area famous for local food.
Cons (-) You can smell the cigarette in the room. It’s quite annoying. People can actually smoke in the room in Shantou I guess but hotel didn’t clean the smell before check in… We were on 20th floor and from time to time we can hear weird noises especially in the bathroom. The shower water was small probably due to low water pressure. And the temperature was unstable.

Pros (+) The Chaozhou restaurant is really good.
Cons (-) We asked for the reception to help us get a taxi but the bell boy got us a dıdi and was not able to arrange for us to pay directly to the driver. So we paid the bell boy in cash. Hotel should be able to arrange for reliable taxi or other transport to train station or airport.
