Very quaint beautiful little oasis. Amazing staff so accommodating & professional the breakfast was fabulous!
Our AC wasn’t great .
Nice and comfortable place to stay in a lovingly restored 16th century Venetian house with Ottoman additions. Despite being in a busy part of town, it’s very quiet once inside. The night porter, staff at breakfast (Petros) and Vasssilis (who checked us in) were all very helpful and courteous.
1. Breakfast took a very long time to come. 2. Our junior suite was lovely and comfortable but had no view. 3. Despite being a junior suite, the room only had one armchair and no other comfortable chair to sit in and relax. 4. Very interesting, beautiful, nice and fancy old building. Beautiful interior and decorations. Amazing breakfast (à la carte). Perfect location, in the heart of the old town.
When we arrived, it was my birthday. They didn't recognise it at all, only said congratulations. The air conditioning in the room was very weak. Cleaners started to clean all the public areas with a shower very early in the morning, and it caused a lot of noise. There is no elevator in the building, so you have to carry all your luggage upstairs.
The free breakfast was some of the best tasting food all trip. There was something so comfortable about walking through the front doors ooff the streets of Chania.
The room we were in wasn't the best of views, but not the biggest of deals.
The room we had had an internal courtyard view but the room had adequate room, good shower and bed. The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful.
Not much. Perhaps a little more space in the room but certainly not a problem.
Clean, comfortable, well appointed room. Breakfast was delicious and the whole place smelled divine - thanks to the huge jasmine tree in the inner courtyard
Location was near the water and all the shopping, on a narrow alley. The staff was gracious and helpful with dinner suggestions and our room was very nice. Wish we could have stayed longer. Be prepared to park a short walk away. Breakfast was elegant.
This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet street in the old town, but also near the Venetian port. Our room was beautiful, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was stylish and functional. The a la carte breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were delightful and helpful, particularly Carolina. There’s nothing we can fault about our stay!
Nothing
super nice bathtub, comfortable bed, minibar with several drinks and snacks, don’t miss the breakfast! - best we had on kreta
thin blankets, but it is common at the hotels on kreta
Very elegantly restored and decorated building . Extremely comfortable bed and quality bedding.
Some internal noise if other guests are using the public areas late.
