By Road It is a two hour drive from Cairns to Mission Beach. Take the Bruce Highway south from Cairns towards Townsville. Take the Mission Beach turnoff at the small township of El Arish approximately 40 minutes south of Innisfail and follow the road 19 kms to Mission Beach. On arrival do not veer left into the village but keep straight ahead to the beachfront and turn right at Castaways Hotel. Continue on and Sejala is next left beachside south from the Castaways complex. Turn left into the tiny road to the beach and right into the hut carpark through the totem gates.
