From the check-in to the check-out, everything went right. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was very clean. We had a quiet room facing the Corcovado Hill.
The location was great - it's in a safe area, there is a metro station and a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The breakfast and the dinner buffet were excellent.
Except for the bathrooms, which were modern and in great condition, the rest of the interior needs some refreshment. Some windows wouldn't close properly and one could hear some noise from the street.

Poor breakfast and dinner. Bacon was very tough that cannot be chewed. Order stake at dinner and was overcooked. Blanket is very thin.

Valet and parking.
Outdated building, room, and bathroom. Visitors were not allowed up to the room to see hotel guests. The neighborhood is not nice either.

Very good breakfast, very friendly staff and excellent strategic location for Rio de Janeiro with good access by Metro, taxi or Uber to beaches, night life, restaurants, St. Teresa, Centrum, Corcovado etc., on top they have a decent roof top pool and a small sauna, as well as a small gym. Quite good level on cleanliness.
To make it even more perfect, gym equipment could be updated. The rules on late-check out could have been more transparent, but just a minor issue.
The hotel was good in terms of price, and the breakfast was nice. If your expectations aren’t too high, it’s a decent place to stay. Very clean hotel. Nice terrace with swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. Good breakfast, stuff working in the restaurant is polite. When dealing with two issues that arose with the safe box and in the bathroom, the clerks were very efficient. The geographical position of the hotel is good. Big safe box.
Breach of agreement on payment on the spot but forcing payment in advance, even though the option to pay on the spot was sent when booking. Small room and small closet.
